Daine McDonald established Clean Health Fitness Institute in 2008. During a 15-year period he coached Olympic medalists, national and international champions in track cycling, raw powerlifting, natural fitness and sports modeling, mogul skiing, and boxing. Daine has also coached professional NRL and ARU players along with a loyal client base of mothers and corporate CEO’s.
Daine holds formal qualifications in human movement and nutritional medicine, he has found powerful inspiration and success through the work of the late Charles Poliquin, who has been the biggest mentor to Daine over his career. Having completed over 30 semi-private internships with Charles as well as qualifications as a BioSignature Practitioner, Daine is a Poliquin-certified Strength Coach.
Over the course of his career Daine has become an internationally renowned health and fitness expert and accomplished writer, having contributed to numerous publications including The Daily Telegraph, Sydney Morning Herald, Huffington Post, GQ Magazine, Australian Women’s Health & Fitness, Oxygen Magazine, The Australian Biggest Loser Club and Fitness First Magazine.
Today, Daine has retired from personal training clients since 2016, outside of his role as Chairman of Clean Health Fitness Institute, he provides business consultancy services to health and fitness businesses around the globe and is passionate about raising the standards in the fitness industry across all areas from service delivery to overall management.
