Performance Nutrition Coach Level 2


1. You will learn about the physiology of fat loss, providing understanding around how the fat loss process works so you are able to apply effective programming to maximize client results and target stubborn fat with evidence-based and results-proven protocols

2. You will learn about how and why a clients physiology changes as they gain or lose body fat and how to individualize the training and nutrition protocols for each of your clients based on their specific needs and goals

3. You will learn about the key hormones that are involved in moblizing and storing body fat, stimulating muscle protein synthesis, controlling hunger and appetite, and regulating metabolic rate, and how these hormones are influenced by different training and nutrition protocols.

4. You will learn common environmental and personal impactors on compliance and results, delving into stress and lifestyle management and how this ultimately impacts results in the gym. You will study the physiological impacts of stress and develop an in-depth, scientific understanding around the hormonal responses to stress, individual client responses to stress and how this will ultimately impact individualized programming and coaching protocols

5. You will learn about the hormonal impacts of stress, training and dieting, on clients results and the importance of tracking biofeedback in order to manage client’s overall health and program proactively, not reactively, to mitigate negative adaptations and maximize compliance, weekly progress and clients’ final result

You will learn about the drastic impact of stress on cognitive function, the immune system, the cardiovascular system, the digestive system (including appetite, hunger and eating habits) the endocrine system and sleep and how you can help clients to manage stress, for better mental and physical health

7. You will learn about the common impactors on sleep and how to coach your clients to establish optimal sleep routines, habits and protocols for better sleep and overall recovery, leading to optimal performance, compliance and results

8. You will learn about the importance of blood sugar management and evidence-based protocols to manage blood sugar with clients through training, cardio, nutrition and diet prescriptions

9. You will learn about the impacts of inflammation, how to manage and reduce chronic inflammation through diet and nutrition programming, lifestyle factors, supplementation and exercise prescription

This course is the advanced Level 2 addition to our Performance Nutrition Coach Level 1 Certification, and provides a scientific, in-depth insight into nutrition from the perspective of nutritionists, dietitians, doctors and allied health professionals, meaning you will develop incredible knowledge in nutrition which you can use to take your coaching to an industry leading standard

Personal trainers, performance and strength coaches, dietitians, doctors, nutritionists, health and fitness professionals or enthusiasts who want to take their understanding and knowledge of nutrition to an advanced, scientific level

This course is delivered via a combination of interactive videos, slides and textbook. The average student takes approximately 10-16 hours to complete this course. It would be considered a two day event if this was done in person.

Yes of course you can! About 10% of our overall students are people whom are doing this for their own personal development and fitness knowledge. Having some prior knowledge of health and fitness does help, however everyone has to start somewhere!

All of our students get access to their online course for 12 months and you can download the content, so you can refer back to it at any time. Any superseded updates however you will need to pay for. This usually occurs every few years, however as a previous student you are entitled to special offers and discounts.

They are true or false and increase in difficulty as you progress through the course.

You cannot progress through each module unless you pass all the questions with a perfect score. Other online providers are not as high, but our point of difference is we are looking for quality first.

Our objective is to build industry leading personal trainers and coaches, so you don’t pass you don’t proceed, however you are given an unlimited amount of chances to pass so don’t worry if you fail the first time, you can make it up with more study and / or contacting our student support team!

It is highly recommended. We suggest completing our Level 1 Performance Nutrition Certification HERE prior to Level 2 as this will give you the fundamental knowledge necessary to understand the Level 2 advanced content. Level 2 will be suited to dietitians, nutritionists, doctors and specialists in the health sector, if you have experience in this field, you do not necessarily need to complete Level 1, but it will give you insight into how you can use nutritional protocols to achieve world leading health and transformation results with clients.

This course is currently in the approval stages with NASM and AFAA for 1.8 CEUS that will be retroactively applied for the Calender Year of 2020. 

We have tried to have this course accredited with as many global governing bodies as possible, however sometimes due to the information that some require we have not chosen to proceed. Our current international partners include:

  • NASM – National Academy of Sports Medicine

With many more partnerships currently underway, so that you are able to maintain your CEU’s or CEC’s where relevant.
